•Increased patrols in areas of Langney Village following fall out of youth related crime and disorder from areas of the Sovereign Harbour and Langney Shopping Centre.
•Neighbourhood Youth Officers committed to visiting local schools with assemblies and talks held around ASB and low impact crimes, to engage with youngsters, and look at encouraging them into local groups or sports events as an alternative to causing ASB in the area.

Swiftly responding to incidents of ASB and effectively using policing powers available to intervene - including powers of dispersal where the actions of individuals or groups impact their wider surroundings; which can lead to wider harm, including the misuse of public spaces or buildings, criminal damage or vandalism, for example graffiti or damage to public buildings.

Status Update
•Continued work with partners and youth organisations, including schools and colleges to identify opportunities for early intervention with individuals at risk of causing ASB which can lead to drug use.
•Additional patrols in areas of know drug use to deter and identify those involved, tied with partnership work with local organisations including GCL (Grow Change Live, STAR), referrals made to local authorities for clean ups in areas reported by communities as showing signs of discarded drug paraphernalia.
